There’s also no AF/MF switch on this lens, and it instead features a manual override option which is constant. This is a good upgrade from previous models, and you can easily override the autofocus setting at any point by adjusting your focus ring. This is a very useful tool and one that makes this lens stand out from other options on the lower end of the price scale.

Lens Body

At only 415 grams, this is one of the lightest options on the market, and if you opt for the non-VR version, it’s actually lighter again. This is due to the plastic construction, including the plastic mount. While some people don’t enjoy this material, it’s a great way to keep costs down in production, resulting in great value for money lenses for Nikon D7200 cameras. It’s comfortable to hold and use due to its size and weight and is very portable for anyone who likes to travel with their Nikon camera.
