Started 2 years ago as just a hobby , Planet Traveler USA has now grown into a trusted review blog with thousands of monthly readers.

Due to the unexpectedly overwhelming response from the readers, I started investing more time into the blog and eventually quit my 9 to 5 blog to become a full-time review blogger.

I’ve been a great fan of outdoor activities since childhood and had my fair share of those in my early days. Unfortunately, after I got my job, I rarely got time to quench my thirst for travel in the wilderness. It was during that time when I started this blog just as a hobby and for my love of the outdoors.

Thanks to the unbelievable response from you, my audience, I was able to quit my job and become a full-time blogger. I remember from back in the day how important it is to have just the right gear at hand, be at camping, hiking, skiing, fishing, cycling, or even photography, you name it; having the right gear for all your needs is of paramount importance.

I now spend hours and hours testing different gear to come up with honest, unbiased, and accurate reviews for my readers. About 80% of all my reviews are based on first-hand experience and testing. For others, I have Caroline, my wonderful friend and an editor here at Planet Traveler USA, as well as Divya, one of our contributors.
